PART 1: NO
It is the best day of Jo Williams’s life. Her scoop is driving the news cycle, and it looks like her reporting might bring down a corrupt senator. Then everything goes pear shaped. Her witness has recanted, the evidence turns out to be faked, and Jo is screwed. In the time it takes to have a press conference, her career is destroyed.

And it is all the doing of the mysterious billionaire behind the senator, Julius Earl.

When Jo confronts Julius Earl to find out why he destroyed her career, he tells her: “Because I’m interested in you.”

But he’s not interested in her career, or in her as person. He’s interested in her body. “I want to own you.”

There’s something about Julius Earl that Jo can’t resist. Of course, he’s young, and he’s so good-looking it hurts, but there’s more. He’s magnetic, and whatever Julius Earl orders Jo to do, she’ll do it.

Jo Williams has given herself to Julius Earl.

When Julius Earl gives Jo a phone, and tells her that she must answer it if it rings, and come to him when he orders, she carries it everywhere, even in bed with her husband. She knows it’s wrong, she knows she shouldn’t, but she can’t stop.
