Description
Abridged versions such as Dr. C. Rajagopalachari's Ramayana
only tell us the line of story with out touching any further details.
But his language and eloquence is unparalleled. Had Rajaji translated
the entire Ramayana, I would not have undertaken this job.
The
book I wrote helps the modern day reader to grasp the details and the
content in its entirety in a very easy way. It is a big book and it
consists more than 250 pages when printed on a A4 sheet. The sanskrit
verse cannot be translated as it is in one sentence. But many authors
tried to do this which resulted in very long sentences that are harder
to read. It discourages the reader to pace through the content.

I
avoided this pit fall as much as I can. It took me 5 hours to read through the entire content
of the book. I felt that is a pretty quick read considering the so many
details and names that I have presented. It may take a little longer
for the new reader as they are not familiar with all the names of trees
and vanaras.
