My Life My Vagina: Taking control of infertility and ultimately your life

Getting pregnant is NOT supposed to be this hard!!! How many times have we said this? If you’re here, then you or someone you know is suffering from the emotionally and even physically debilitating disease called infertility.

However, My Life My Vagina is not your average just call on Jesus, read a bunch of scriptures and Christian testimony of how I eventually conceived my baby, infertility book. I don’t even think it can be considered an infertility devotional. No, this book is different. And though I am a Christian and fully believe in God, I realized that not everyone needs this.

In the infertility book world of “you’ve got to be married”, or “trust in the Lord, He does not fail”, or “I found a deeper relationship with Jesus in my struggle” - And not to mention the countless books written by women over 40, or close to it - and others who had, had a child early in life and was struggling to conceive a second time, there is an entire demographic of women out there who are being left out and forced to go it alone. My Life My Vagina strives to reach those women. The single, or in a committed relationship yet unmarried woman. The women, who have yet to have their first child. The women who are physically healthy and young, but suffer from fertility issues. The women who are forced to struggle in silence because we have no one to turn to who will understand our plight. Yes, I speak to those women. Quite simply, this book is for the rest of us.

Infertility is hard. And finding something to believe in is even harder when everything you’ve understood seems to be crushed with this new found disorder. But, I wanted more for my life and deep down you do too. And though I gave myself freedom to live in my truth and feel the depths of my emotions, I refused to lose myself in the bevy of them. Therefore, I began taking charge of my fertility and in turn took control of my life. I found something more to believe in. Something to motivate and push me to higher heights. And I’m confident that there are other women who want to do the same. My Life My Vagina provides just that. It gives you a chance to see your infertility in a new light. And in discovering your new outlook, you’ll find that you are then granted the tools to take control of your life. Choose to live again! Don’t let your fertility status determine who you are and who you will be. Be you! Be free to feel how you feel and make no apologies for who you are. So be fearless! Be bold! And live faithfully in your femininity! It’s your life, your vagina. And you can do with it what you darn well please!
