Nicholas Odd is a man travelling to London to meet the love of his life, when he's pulled in middle of a brewing succesion war between powerful witch sisters. Due to his kidnapping, his eyes are opened to a magical world he never believed could exist: full of witches, mermaids, and dark creatures, ruled by an entity called the Witch Queen.

Accompanying Rain and Vision; a foul-mouthed witch, and a talking raven, Nicholas dwelves deeper into the dangerous world of witches and wars, and finds out that sometimes things, no matter how extraordinary, can happen to just anyone.
