The Chatelaine of Montaillou

It is 25 years since Beatrice de Lagleize lived in Montaillou. The past she has tried to forget is about to catch up with her when she summoned by the Inquisitor, Bishop Jacques Fournier. Appointed by the Pope Bishop Fournier, noted for his ruthlessness and rigor is charged with rooting out and destroying any Cathars that remain after 100 years of persecution by the established Church in Rome.
