Kannada Mahabharata: 01 Adi Parva 13 Vaivahika Parva: Simple Kannada Translation of the Original Sanskrit Vyasa Mahabharata

This is the 13th of the 100 Upa Parvas, located in the first of the 18 Maha Parvas of the original Sanskrit Vyasa Mahabharata. As the name suggests, this chapter describes the marriage of Draupadi with the five Pandavas. The main contents of this chapter include: Drishtadyumna reporting to his father Drupada about what he saw at the potter's house, Druapad's joy that it was Arjuna who won Draupadi in the Svayamvara, the arrival of the Pandavas to Drupada's palace for a royal feast, Drupada not agreeing to Yudhishtira's suggestion that Draupadi should be married to all the five Pandavas, the arrival of Vyasa who convinces Drupada that the Pandavas are the five Indras of the yore and Draupadi will have five husbands according to the boon she got from Shiva, the wedding ceremony of Draupadi with each of the five Pandavas, the blessings of Kunti to Draupadi.
