Quentin is far from being human as he altered his soul twice in one life. Once by combining the power and knowledge of an ancient Mizuchi dragon named Vasharre, or Vash for short. The second was a ritual performed to make him into an Elda'ri, a subrace of Elf whose magical abilities exceed a High Elf. One of their abilities is to collect their own past lives and can possibly be them should they choose to. Being a synthetic, he has acquired numerous past lives like any other Elda'ri. Admittedly, possibly faster than ordinary Elda'ri.
Quentin casted a techno spell triggering astral projection. A techno spell is a spell utilized by technology, mainly computers. He inserted a large portion of his soul, through soul fragmentation, into the computer to fix what appeared to be a virus. Instead he has the opportunity to bring the being that he has searched for leads down. Everything that he has acquired during this lifetime may benefit him, though the odds may be against him.
