The Hyin and the Macreum Stones

Jeffery is a decedent of the Hyin, and he is next in line to become the keeper of the Macreum Stones. After witnessing his grandfather in the heat of battle with a woman unbeknownst to him at the time, he soon finds out that she is an evil hunter called the Vexen, and that she is hell bent on destroying the Hyin and obtaining the stones. His grandfather trains him, and thereafter passes the responsibility of the stones on to him. Jeffery is now the protector, and he goes to extraordinary lengths to keep the stones and his life out of peril.
