Angels Tell Parables for Today: 1973 Parables

Here is the first book, Angels Tell Parables for Today, for you to read. Angels spoke these words to us in 1973, soon after Ray Elkins was given a dream three days before Christmas.

How did angels come and speak parables to us?

A new comet appeared in the sky that became visible through telescopes near Christmas in 1969. As it drew close to pass over Earth in late March and early April, 1970, it became the most spectacular comet of the century. The brilliant light shone in the heavens for all the world to see.

With this light in the east – on the day the U.S. Naval Observatory thinks Jesus spoke his farewell words at Passover and promised to return, April 3 – spiritual messengers God sent arrived upon the Earth to bring a message of love to all. "We are here but for one purpose, to prepare a way for the coming of the Messiah."

Meanwhile, a man on Earth was dying after he prayed to be out of his pain. And as he passed on, he found himself standing before “one who had more love in his eyes than anyone he’d ever seen.”

There were many other people gathered around this one. He gave Ray a gift. Ray didn’t know what the gift was, but he trusted him as he had trusted no one. He also gave Ray the choice to return back to his body or to remain there wth all the people gathered. If Ray chose to return, nothing would be changed; he would still suffer.

And Ray chose to return. Soon after, the gift began to whisper through Ray’s unconscious body.

Ray chose to do as he’d been asked, to give this gift to others in the same manner of love it had been given to him, asking nothing in return.

Giving to God the greatest gift of love he had, Ray gave up his body so that the gift might speak through him. Each evening, from 1970 to 1989, that the spiritual messengers of God spoke one of the parables you’ll read, Ray left his body and walked up a “ladder” to stand with God, as he’d done upon dying. This was done freely in love, that God might send His spiritual messengers might to speak to us.

This is the gift we read.

God’s spiritual messengers bring a loving message to all the world as they spoke from a town named, Globe. It is for all who will receive. “New words shall be written upon the sky, but they must be written in men’s hearts first.”

God sends them to prepare a way for the most loving gift our Father could give to us – the Messiah. They seek to prepare a place first within our hearts and minds.

These parables were first published in 1982 in Parables for Today, a beautiful writing transcribed from words that were spoken and tape recorded of spiritual messengers of God. They spoke to bring each soul closer to God, in his or her own way. The sold-out paperback held 142 parables from the angels from 1972 to 1982. Now, these parables are being made available once again, with seven additional years from 1983 to 1989. This time, they appear with beautiful illustrations, making them even more meaningful.
