Victor, a billionaire widower in his 50’s, is a private man who is involved in charitable giving. Marcia is a perfectly sculpted 33 year old acrobat and actress who meets him performing at a benefit. She has no idea how old he is or that he has money. There is an instant connection. He gives her some financial advice and they learn they both have a shared interest in Mayan culture. They travel to the Yucatan peninsula and it get’s steamy. He helps Marcia realize how she disempowers herself by working for other people. She doesn’t realize that his constant phone calls are to manage his assets and answer questions from stockholders.

As he helps her reshape her personal identity, she falls madly in love with him. Victor finally comes clean about how filthy rich he actually is which makes Marcia realize her unfinalized divorce could hurt Victor’s reputation. But she lost touch with her ex and doesn’t know how to reach him and can’t afford a good lawyer. When his private jet shows up to save them from a tropical storm,

Marcia finds out her agency is relocating which leaves her without work, at least for now. Marcia tells Victor about her unfinalized divorce and in fear of a lawsuit he tells her they must not see each other until the divorce is finalized. Marcia gets invited to tour Europe in a traveling circus and may have to take the job.
