The Alligator Hunters

My Papa died when I was little. I only knew him from the stories my Mama and uncle made up. They were adventure stories. The kind you want to hear your Papa in.
My favorite was "The Alligator Story". It had pirates and a pirate ship, treasures, a mysterious island in a swamp, and of course alligators. My Mama had been telling it to me for years.
What if I found out those stories were true?
