Description
In Book I: Origins, we discussed that the universe may be a vast 12-sided biosphere that is quantifiable mathematically; that astrology may have been a language given to us by a superior intelligence to help explain what the biosphere is and how it works; that this biosphere may somehow correlate with human nature and human physiology (possibly because it is a macrocosm of the cells in our own bodies); that when planets (and perhaps any particles) move through this biosphere they correspond to vibrations that elicit responses in human beings; that the characteristics given to the planets out-picture as aspects of ourselves; that the concept of gods & goddesses may have been an attempt to help us understand our own characteristics; that what we can perceive with our five senses may not be all there is; that the signs show areas of life that we deal with as planets move through them; and, how the people in our lives appear to be part of the overall patterns that surround us; and, that there is a difference between destiny and fate.
In Book II: Clues, we tried putting the pieces together to actually read a chart. We looked at the internal programming we were born with and what that can mean in terms of who we are; and, what we’re to become. It looked at mankind as an integral part of the universe we were born into.
And, in Book III: Destiny, we’re going to look at the planets as they put our programming into motion; as, we begin to move along our time lines. This book will allow us to look at the past, present and future; and, at what the ancients called “destiny.” For the ancient Sumerians destiny was reflected in the ebb and flow of the universe (the movement of the planets) which was unalterable; and, fate was what mankind did with it, and carried with it the possibility of change; provided that destiny did not overrule the outcome.
In this book we’re going to look at whether the cycles (the planetary movements around us) really do affect what happens to us; and, why.
And, as we move through this book, I’m going to cover each of the planets in the order that I would use to read a chart (starting with Pluto and ending with the Moon). This book is not only intended to be a reference document; but, also a tutorial.
First we’ll look at the outer planets from Pluto to Uranus, because those planets represent global actions, desires and thoughts. And depending upon what the world at large is focusing on, it could affect our lives and our decisions.
Then we’ll cover Saturn and Jupiter, because those two planets could represent up to 75% of what we remember about our lives.
And then we’ll cover the inner planets from Mars to the Sun, Venus, Mercury and the Moon. These planets are the top notes. And they tend to trigger cycles created by the outer planets; however, by themselves they move quickly and may not leave a recognizable footprint.
For people who are new to astrology this book will hopefully give you enough information that you may want to do further study. For those of you who have a basic understanding of astrology it will hopefully open up new doorways. And for those who are adept at astrology it may provide you some additional food for thought – or confirm what you’ve already suspected.
