Yuletide at the Country Dragon Veterinary Hospital: The Dragon Healer Chronicles (1)

Chaos is the everyday normal at the Country Dragon Veterinary Hospital, especially when you treat magical creatures like small dragons, griflets, pookas, and cats. But, it's Yuletide, and Dr. Lexie Anderson is on her own with a full patient load. Her Moms (both veterinarians) were summoned to treat a sick dragon by Lady Valerian, the elven ruler of the Eastern Realm. Worried, Lexie hasn't communicated with her family since before they crossed the Veilgate, the magical barrier that separates Earth from the Realm. Now, rumors of goblins skulking around the Veilgate have been reported.

Under pressure from his grandmother, Lady Valerian, elven lord Aeren Cadiel makes his way to the Realm for Yuletide when a dragon egg crashes onto his car's windshield. He rushes into the Country Dragon Veterinary Hospital seeking help. He can't raise a dragon. Goblins have been sighted near the Veilgate, and it's his job to stop them.

The newborn dragon is weak, and may not survive. Aeren and Lexie work together to save the hatchling, not knowing its magic has bonded them, complicating their growing attraction. Saving the dragon may be the least of their worries.
