Within the publication of the 10th Edition of NANDA International nursing diagnoses: definitions and classification, 2015-2017, many additions, revisions and refinements were introduced.
This is a companion book designed to give current users of nursing diagnosis a “quick glance” into what is new in the 10th edition, as well as more in-depth information on some of those changes, including 26 new diagnoses.
Model cases, key outcomes, and general interventions for new diagnoses are provided to support their use in education, research and practice.
In addition, conceptual issues that require additional clarification in the upcoming edition are discussed, and some recommendations are made for modification as the terminology continues to move forward.
