McKenna Johnsson believed that as soon as her high school graduation ceremony was over, she would be free of school until she went to college in the fall. What she did not expect was to be given a fake diploma and told that if she wanted the real one, she had to endure one last high school trip, to a destination unknown. Simply put, she wasn't happy. Of course, up until that point McKenna still believed that everything she learned in history class, was just that history. She most certainly did not expect to be thrown back through time, into a body of a child! Lets not forget that all of the scary stories her father used to tell her about werewolves, vampires and witches, ended up being more than just stories. In fact, her adopted father ends up being one a werewolf! Throw in a new Viking hometown, and an arranged marriage, as McKenna lives through history. All the while, attempting to figure out if she should tell anyone her secret. Who is she supposed to trust with the truth, without them believing that she is crazy?
