Zee Inspector Bitch

She did not plan to be girl with a sword. No one goes to Dirt Ball except refugees who have no where else to go. It is an ancient, dead end planet, only a small part of which is livable. Not the sort of place a young runaway girl would head for.

Zee was running from Enforcers, the sharp edge of the law on any conforming planet. They bred, raised and trained her. With what they invested, Enforcers view Zee as a valuable asset. They want her back. They would have caught her but she ran into Canto, an adept of Legion, a fabled elite who once ruled, back when ruling was a concept people tolerated.

An adept is someone to avoid, not someone you hang out with. Zee will be stuck here for longer than she has been alive and she has a lot of growing up to do. There is only one city on Dirt Ball, so that is where Canto and Zee go, to wait until the portal activates again. Canto goes to do whatever an elderly eccentric does. Zee follows just because, clueless teenager without a plan, but willing to work and the Office of Inspectors is hiring.
