CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO DIE

The protagonist in the poem is introspecting, but it is no ordinary introspection- it comes as the worst nightmare wherein he faces all of his and other people's wrong doings through a continuum of apparitions of the seven demons associated with the seven deadly sins. He relives his own sins by living those of the demons'.
