In 1933, a macabre new hero exploded into the pages of the pulp magazine Ten Detective Aces, a Depression-era Robin Hood who wore a spherical, reflective mask that made his head look like the shining moon. Police detective by day and rogue-ish thief by night, he called himself the Moon Man, and his stories would continue to appear regularly in Ten Detective Aces for the next four years.

THE MOON MAN ARCHIVES collects all of the Moon Man's original exploits in order of publication. Volume 9 includes the final five stories written by Frederick C. Davis, featuring the Moon Man's struggle to clear himself of a bogus murder rap, his battle of wits against criminals who hold his sweetheart for ransom, and the terrible choice of revealing his true identity or watching his father - the chief of police - get booted from the force.
