Description

This book takes you through a large spread of History. This is done with the intent of helping the reader to see the historical context that made up the back drop of American history. Most people look at history merely as a sequence of events that seemingly just happened. It's as if history is just a series of events, that seem to happen at random. That's the way I learned history, and probably the way that most people did. We didn't really look at the big picture. But things don't just happen randomly. In order to really understand what is going on in the world today, you have to have an understanding of history, with at least a back drop of 800 years, and even further back than that to really get a good understanding of what you see happening in the world today. So, let's look at the broader scope of history: You will learn to look at history in a completely different light than you have become accustomed.

In the long span of world history up to the American Revolution there were upsurges, followed by regression, in which the truths discovered were either cast aside, or placed under the restrictions of a ruler of empire. Usually, this has come from a leadership that had the insight and the power to sponsor advances in science and the arts. These leaders patronized the great thinkers in the world, promoting them by sponsoring their work, to shape a culture and economy of human progress. But whenever there was an empire form of government, where the society remained empire, and society gave a king, etc. a group of nobility the right to assert their rule, this system pushed back progress. Yet, historians miss this point. They look at the events that happen throughout history in isolation, and therefor come to wrong conclusions. What is commonly taught is that the collapse of societies is caused by some mystical power of an unseen hand. The real cause is overlooked, that it was the rule of empire that held back human progress, by stymieing the growth of the human potential, and it was this that led to the collapse of society.

We are told that societies are destined to fall every so many years because of a mystical power that governs history, which we can't do anything about. But, there is nothing scientific or historically accurate about this explanation. The truth about what really causes things to happen is either not taught, or is forgotten. In today's society it has become politically incorrect to assert causality. The search for causality is taboo. Hence, Americans today don't know their true history, they don't understand the great heritage that was handed down to them by their forefathers, or the great mission that the Founding Fathers intended America to have. Americans can't carry on this great mission because they don't have a clue of what it is.

The American education system has truly sold the American people down the river, because Americans have not been taught the most important aspects of American history. A Frenchman who was a historian, Alexis De Tocqueville came and visited the US in 1831. This is what he said about America: “America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”

After spending countless hours researching and learning about the founding of America, it became clear to me what the intention of the American Founding Fathers was. Reading their own words, I began to be able to see the world through their eyes, to understand their view of the world, and to be greatly distressed that America is not the nation today that they intended it to be, and that Americans don't know their history. I had to write this book. I had to tell the American people and the world, the nation that America was intended to be, and why it isn't that nation today. I want to give Americans hope for their future, to tell them that there is a way out of this present crisis, but only if they go back to their roots.
