I wrote this book because I feel there must be other men and women who having worked many years have found that they feel there is more and want to experience it. To change a career is not easy. However, I had come to a time in my life where I felt I needed to change direction
This book will help you see how we managed our education, jobs and ultimately our direction in life.
It will show you that being a Remote area Registered Nurse is nothing like the stereotype most people think of when you say you are a Registered Nurse. I also provide a view into the indigenous Aboriginal people of Australia and Canada and some of their attitudes within their culture and life.
For me, being a Registered Nurse has been lonely, wonderful, difficult, rewarding, frustrating, an adventure, testing, challenging and financially fantastic journey. It has also allowed me to touch the soul of several of my patients and their families enabling both hope and comfort when there is no longer any hope.
It also enabled me to work with and help over 2,500 couples in dealing with Erectile Dysfunction.
It is about the life’s journey of one couple of Nurses in spite of the unseen and unknown life threatening medical condition of Prostate Cancer and how it ultimately changed our direction in helping people.
