Alex was a typical man, on the surface at least. He could blend into a crowd to be near invisible. But his intelligence stood out in any crowd, that is if he chose to. But the only place he did show his intelligence was within a virtual world.

Inside his talented mind, he had little understanding of the arbitrariness of authority and a moral compass that many had said was off. Alex had no issues with hacking into any system, technically or morally.

Alex took on the wrong client. And now he lies dying with no oxygen, blood covering him and a rack of servers pinning him to the ground. How, why? What had he done wrong? Alex grasps these issues as his life slips away.
