Chasing Nickels and Dimes: The Hard Way

They say the measure of a man’s worth is the sum of his workday achievements. I just made that up because it sounds philosophical. The truth is I’m a writer with, let’s just say, a “spotty” career resume. Unpredictable panic attacks, poor work habits and a bad attitude are a few things that have kept me off the Times Best Sellers List. While my journalistic experience has been long and varied, the jobs I’ve been forced to take in-between writing gigs have been, well, colorful. “Chasing Nickels and Dimes” is my droll attempt to describe my unconventional job history and the reasons I was never nominated for “employee of the month.”
