Description
Where do I begin, The Happily Ever After series was begun with the efffort of bringing characters you do not normally see in fairytales or even modern books. We have a chubby girl in Michelle in book one Mirror of the Soul, because people think that people like that should not be in books. We have in book 2 a Blind girl, can the same really be said about that? But its what happens. In the whole series there is a girl in a wheel chair, a prince who is not charming, and many characters you never see setting foot into a book. But that is not the only reason this book is in existance you do not just read it to see them!
You pick up a book and read it because it has an epic tale to tell you as you turn page by page and read the narative I have created. You get swept away in their joy and triumphant moments but you also shed tears with them and feel their every emotion. These are not just books! These are my books...these are tales of heroism on both sides not just men saving women, and not just some 'fairest' of them all type of ideal. Men and women are not perfect, and to continue to show us as such in these books you see out now and before is a very sad reality. But that changes here you get the chance to expiernece what no other author out there has ever offered, a reality within a fantasy, a hommage to the old fairytales, and a reweaving or renewing of a tale long forgotten.
In Mirror of the Soul Specifically which is book 1 of 7, you see this story from several characters point of views! The enchantress must test the Princes, and they must find their journey to renewell, and find forgiveness in the ones they spurned worst. It is a tale where dragons unfurls their wings, and mermaids come up in whole new original ways, and unicorns.......and so much more than you even realizing. Mirror of the Soul is like some fairytales, and it is unlike some fairytales, it is new, and yet it has some of the old in it too. References and homage paid to something I have always been drawn to.....theis phrase..........
Once upon a time in a land far away....
