The Lawson Criterion describes the inherent difficulty in achieving fusion.
A very high temperature is required.
A high density is required.
A high energy confinement time is required.
All these must be simultaneous. This is extraordinarily difficult to achieve, as if the temperature is high, a Plasma will expand, reducing density, and also emitting energy as radiation.
This reactor is designed to overcome these difficulties by use of a novel electrostatic confinement regime, and by novel use of Muons to increase the density and reduce the energy lost by emissive radiation.
