“I don’t really understand why anyone would want to kill a poor woman in cold blood. look at her, how old do you think she was? Sixty? People are really sick in this doggy dog world we call home.” Agent Cromwell complained

But at that moment, agent Madeline Summers wasn’t even in the conversation. She was down on one knee examining the corpse. It was such a bad idea to just let this one go without her doing her best. And that was why she was there, not to keep up conversations about how bad the world had become, but to try and make her contributions on making the world a much better place.

The knife had gone straight through the poor woman’s heart and there was no way she was going to fight back. Agent Madeline summers checked on her fingernails and bit on her lower lip as she went deep in thought.

“I don’t think this was done by an amateur. This was a professional hit.”
“But all the evidence point towards an accident.”
