Darcy's Duel: Pride and Prejudice Variation

Instead of delivering a letter to Elizabeth Bennet after his failed marriage proposal, Fitzwilliam Darcy travels back to Meryton to confront George Wickham. Amid the social whirl of town, rumors spread of a duel between the two men. Gossip soon reaches Elizabeth at Longbourn. She immediately tries to stop the affair from happening, and in doing so, finds herself falling in love.
