The first offering is a short story about a woman who buys a big mirror from a warehouse selling reclaimed articles. The mirror had been painted black. and while cleaning the mirror, the new owner is sucked into the mirror’s vortex. Her two friends must find a way to get her out of the mirror when they aren’t sure how where she is.
The second story is a novella about a young woman who becomes trapped in a dream and ends up dancing in the stars. The young woman begins waking knowing while she slept she was transported somewhere else, and believes she is going crazy. Gradually, she is able to put substance to the dream, and realizes she is going to a cabin in the woods with a mysterious stranger. Unexpectedly, she finds the cabin in the woods, and with the discovery accepts she was actually traveling through the night skies.
The final story is a short story about a young woman who inherits her grandmother antebellum house. What she doesn’t know is her grandmother is still close at hand, but discovers this when two unwanted visitors arrive and move into the house.. When she cannot persuade the visitors to leave her house, her grandmother chases them away.
