Description

My TOEFL date was just three days after my GMAT. Just three days. I wanted at least a week between the GMAT and TOEFL. But somehow this was the only time slot available that week.

I had to complete my TOEFL preparation in three days.

The story continues like this:
GMAT took all the time and I saw what TOEFL prep was all about for the first time on the evening of the 28th. In next three days, I prepared and took the TOEFL - scoring over 110 out of 120.
However, before I started my GMAT preparation, I made a plan on how to do my TOEFL prep in three days. My plan was strategic, focused and planned to the hour. I wasn't sure if it would work, but I did not have any other option.
I knew I would be exhausted for my preparation, so I made my schedule fun and extremely result-focused. My TOEFL preparation was laden with videos, online searches and enough breaks to ensure I remain in peak performance mind-frame for the final test.
When I did find success in my plan, I shared it with a couple of friends. Finally I listed the steps in a blog by the same name. Over the last few years, I have received many positive feedback on my plan. Many people in similar circumstances have told me it was the easiest preparation they had done.
This book and the structure is an unconventional crash course. It is meant for a person lacking in time and exhausted from the main competitive test (GMAT/ SAT / LSAT / other). It provides a different way to potentially get maximum rewards out of minimal effort. In no way does it guarantee a high score, it however does try and make the preparation as painless as possible.
This short guide is a more detailed step-wise plan to how I prepared for TOEFL.
