Just as she is ready to figure her way out of the high orbit, a garbled and frantic holo-burst stops her in her tracks. She is ordered to rescue the enemy pilot whose ship was pulled in with hers.

Effectively setting up a tense détente on her ship, Mila eventually has to admit that Rex, the Dextronin pilot she now has as her shipmate, isn’t the enemy she thought. In fact, Rex manages to break down her defences and together they forge a kind of neutral safe zone. Sometimes it is worth taking a chance.
