Description

So you have a great idea that you see yourself turning into a successful business.
Maybe it's the next App everyone will be playing on their smart phones,
maybe it's an awesome antique store where.
Or the corner drugstore.

Everybody's got an idea and wants to accomplish something great, it's human nature. 2016 presents numerous business opportunities for entrepreneurial minds. Yet, things have changed a lot, and you need a few winning tips on what to concentrate on as you create a business plan this year. As such, this book provides a guideline on how to write winning business plans and get your business up and running! This book is a stepwise guide on how to write a business plan. You are welcome to customize the ideas presented here to suit your exact business needs.
If the business plan is for funding, with the exception of the Executive Summary, chapters can be moved around or combined to help a lender better understand the business opportunity. The traditional chapter sequence for a business plan is as follows:
• Executive Summary
• Business Overview
• Products & Services
• Market Analysis
• Marketing Plan
• Management
• Financial Model

A business plan for a manufacturing company will require an Operations Plan chapter that details the production process. The Operations Plan is for a larger enterprise and varies by industry. As such, the model is not included here. You can find excellent information available on the web that details options if needed.
There are times when content in the Product & Services chapter is limited. If so, it may be wise to present the offering description as part of the Business Overview chapter.
