The Pool

The Pool rules

Number one. Only one person can walk through the gate at a time.
Number two. The gate must be fully closed before the next person goes through, and that person must open the gate unassisted.
Number three. You must be ready to enter the pool.
Number four. The Pool knows when you're ready.
Shawn and his family have been travelling for many miles. As a father he wanted to give his kids a look at the great expanse we call North America. After driving straight through from Colorado Shawn sees a small old style motel on the side of the road with a pool. The town of Boulder City holds more than motels, and antique stores. The town holds everything. It is where everyone goes, and where everyone leaves. It is where old habits come to die, or be rekindled. Where Time stands still, and reality is brought into view.
