Oscar: A day without his aids

Not again! Oscar left the house without his hearing aids. His mother, friends, and teachers all shout out to him, but he goes about his day unaware of how many people are trying to talk to him.

Written and illustrated by a hard of hearing author, Oscar: A day without his aids, gives voice to the mind of a young boy who has an easier time daydreaming than hearing the world around him.

The author uses humor and personal experience to tell the story. Although the story is written in picture-book format, it is the author's hope that anyone with hearing loss or a connection to the hearing loss community will appreciate the tale.
