Emile C. Tepperman was an accomplished American writer of pulp fiction. Very little is known of his life. His pulp career lasted from the early 30s to the early 40s. He is also credited with writing for radio broadcasts. His production for the pulps was varied and includes many series and recurrent characters, such as the Purple Invasion Series (Operator 5), Ed Race, who appeared regularly in "Spider Magazine" (Tepperman himself wrote a number of Spider novels), Agent-X stories, the successful Suicide Squad series that appeared in "Ace G-Man" magazine, and Marty Quade, a private investigator featured in several stories published in "Ten Detective Aces."
This eBook includes five of the Marty Quade stories published in "Ten Detective Aces:" "Coffin Cache" (July, 1934), "Married for Murder" (February, 1935), "Parade of the Wooden Kimonos" (February, 1941), "Five-Star Frameup" (March, 1941), and "A Half Interest in Hell" (May, 1941).
