Description
Stepping beyond the threshold of Death! Keys of Yama is based on the ancient knowledge of the wheels of time, and TLB Kruger attempts to dramatize this by wrapping this knowledge in a fiction tale to create a profound new age fiction adventure read. The knowledge in this book is of the authors own personal experience and his wish is to share this with the world.
Joshua Theron is a young engineer from Cape Town, who climbs the highest mountains to escape his troubled past. During a winter attempt on K2, a haloed sun triggers a regression that transports him back to the time of the Buddha, the day the keys to conquer death were given to the King of Shambhala. During the descent, Joshua is trapped in an avalanche, and rescued by a group of passing porters, who take him to a cave where these same Keys of Yama have been guarded by a group of monks for almost three millennia. Their master informs him that he is destined to bring this message of the Buddha to the people of Aquarius. A vicious attack on the cave by Jihadis force Joshua and Electa, the young female protégé of the monks’ master, to escape with the scroll containing the Keys and propels them on a tumultuous journey back to civilization. A thrilling chase ensues with their lives hanging in the balance as a fanatical Imam musters the forces of the Pakistani Army to annihilate both them and the scroll he believes to be a plot of the Buddhists to destroy Islam. Will these crucial insights reach mankind in time to propel us beyond our destiny and on towards a higher purpose, or will these keys be lost to the world forever? A thrilling spiritual adventure.

What inspired you to write this book?
A deep-seated urge to share my journey of self discovery. To share where I have spotted God, hiding in everyday life. And how we can all see him. In a word: a drive from within. You can only love God if you know God, can perceive God reflected in life and the glory of it.
Do you have any specific writing style?
I like thrillers. I like plot-driven stories. This reflects in my writing. It needs to be exciting.
How did you come up with the title of the book?
Yama is the Hindu and Buddhist god of death. Yama are also the do’s of Yoga – the things you should do. Hence Keys of Yama. How to conquer death.

You mentioned A tale of Fiction but story about Truth, what does this mean?
The outer story is fiction. The inner journey true to my own experience. My story of truth.
Why Death?
It is what we fear the most that holds us back from truly experiencing the wonders of life.
