Why be concerned about maintaining your chickens content? Well, for starters, they have a tendency to struggle less together once they are content. They also have a tendency to lay eggs more regularly. Thus, happy chickens mean satisfied poultry homeowners!

If you are a newcomer to raising birds, you'll be relieved to know it doesn't take much to preserve your chickens happy. Here's a listing of the top ten poultry-attractive basics:

1. Ensure that your hen coop is large enough for the amount of birds you've. Much more is not worsen, although the purpose must be at least 4 feet per hen. Cramped areas will encourage fighting among the flock.

2. Present your hen's place to roam outside the co-op (a protected hen run or a safe backyard). They require a location where they could chew, damage and search for hot treats to consume.

3. Treats. Yes, they are similar to us people. Sweets make us satisfied? Chickens are no different. Sweets for them are several other table scraps, and viruses, pests, fruits, vegetables, bread. Most chickens also love broken corn (that you will get at the feed store once you buy chicken food) but don't binge them--too much of a very important thing can sometimes be bad.

4. New water. Keep the water great while in the summer of your poultry, and thawed in the winter.
