This novella explores the potential for capitalist ideology, espoused by the British Conservative Party and much of the western world, to work to the detriment of society. To elevate the wealthy and the powerful to even greater wealth and power at the expense of plunging the poor into further poverty. It is the alternate-reality tale of an unemployed man struggling to survive in a world designed to function primarily for the benefit of the Elite.
