Mara Stevens jumps at the chance for a job at a new premier resort on the North Carolina coast. All she has to do is fly out to the private island and get through one more interview. Unfortunately, what should be a shiny new career opportunity turns into something dangerous.
Upon landing, she learns the truth. She’s trapped in the web of dark erotic intrigue, and these ruthless, high-powered, dangerous men don’t intend to let her go. They see her as nothing more than a plaything to use at their whim. Mara is forced to submit to the reconditioning and training of a sadistic taskmaster—or suffer the consequences.
When undercover agent Wes Armstrong arrives on the island while following a drug trafficking lead, he finds more—far more, than he bargained for. When the two connect during the dark, dangerous Hunt, Mara sees a chance, however slim, of escape, redemption, and, just possibly, love.
Warning: Hunted is a dark, erotic romance novel that explores the psychology of power when it’s taken and abused, and, as such, contains disturbing situations.
