Genius modern day inventor, Desmond Wright, longs to build something to change the world for the better. He's given his chance when a mysterious old man presents him with a relic from Nikola Tesla himself--documents detailing his efforts in constructing an endless energy machine, the Earth Battery. Unknown to Desmond, however, is the existence of a secret government organization known as the Combine, hell-bent on securing the machine for their own sinister ends.
