Mechatronics: A Primer (Understanding Mechatronics Book 1)

This is a Primer on Mechatronics. This books is designed to serve as a reference
book for engineering students and practicing professionals. Virtually every
engineering products designed and manufactured in the last 25 years integrating
mechanical and electrical systems can be classified as mechatronic systems.

Mechatronic solutions require the use of integrated teams of personnel working
towards a common goal. Thus the Mechatronics engineer identifies with systems
thinking, and a philosophy that lies behind it all. A Mecha­tronics 'product'
derived through systematic, rather than piece meal processing. It, therefore,
seeks to optimize an 'engineered' solution rather than compromise it.
