The nuts. If your opponent doesn't have them, you might want to pretend that you do.
Half of exploitative poker is about understanding your opponent's range. The other half is about making use of that understanding. This booklet will show you how to identify a particular type of range - a capped range - and exploit it.
When a player cannot hold the nuts, we say their range is capped. When a player's range is capped, they're generally more susceptible to big bluffs, since it usually takes a strong hand to call a big bluff. Weaker value hands also become stronger against capped ranges.
After some exposition on capped ranges, we delve into a number of Dusty's hands to illustrate exactly how to exploit a capped range. That's our hands-on approach. And yeah, we'll make some jokes, too.
