Included are four Gospel books: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John with verse-to-verse comparisons between the DBB and the Chinese KJV (a.k.a. CKJV) editions.

The goal of the DBB is both to help Christians easily read and understand God's Word on a daily basis and to introduce salvation to nonbelievers through modern English. Archaic words/phrases have been updated to modern equivalents while keeping with their original meanings and being true to God’s word. Each difficult word is defined in italics, helping the reader understand the meaning of words without the hassle of using a dictionary. Editor's remarks are included in some verses so that readers can easily find the clarification of difficult concepts. Also included is a table of contents with hyperlinks to books, chapters, and verses for easy access.
