Secularism Spark is an IDEA with the noble intent that will make a child truly respect other religion with respect. The real definition of being secular starts from a child. A child's mind , heart and soul can be nourished and molded by the kind of teachings imparted.Religious intellect imparted in the right way will make a child respect other religions. It will help a child develop emotional intelligence, rationale and compassion for others.

Where can the IDEA , Secularism Spark be implemented?

The intent of the IDEA, Secularism Spark is to nourish a child's mind with the right kind of intellect with respect to religion. The noble IDEA needs to be discussed and debated before taking it forward.
India as a democracy consists of people of various religious backgrounds including Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis etc. Democracy is for the people, by the people and of the people. Indian democracy demands social experiments on noble IDEAS for the benefit of people.

Why INDIA for the Secularism Spark experiment?

India is a country which has suffered a lot at the hands of religious conflicts. Though millions of people belonging to different religions co-exist in India in a peaceful way,yet on a timely basis bloodshed and conflicts keep on happening. And it is sad when small children are taught to hate others on account of religion and god.
Hope and a positive ray of light must be imparted in a child dealing with religious issues. There can be no place better than my motherland India to promote and experiment the IDEA
