Spanked by Their Landlady

Set in 1984, this story begins when best friends Susan and Wendy manage to persuade their parents to let them spend a few days at a scenic Welsh village during the Easter holidays. Their parents eventually agree, providing the girls (both in their last year of senior school) take their school books with them so that they can finish their project. They stay in a guest house owned by Mary Richards, a firm but fair woman who soon makes it clear she expects her new guests to do as they're told and behave themselves whilst under her roof. It isn't long before Susan and Wendy get into bother; ignoring the weather warning and Mary's advice, they get stranded on a steep hillside. The local Mountain Rescue bring them safely back to the guest house ... where Mary Richards is waiting for them with dry clothes, mugs of steaming cocoa ... and a plimsoll. Both girls get a smacked bottom and sent to bed.

Such is life in this old fashioned village, at a time where a spanking or two is all part of growing up ... and despite their spanked bottoms, the girls have a great holiday and can't wait to return.
