Bolt from The Blue, Jolt From The Heaven: Fight against cancer through Ayurveda and spirituality

In 2015, I was diagnosed with an advanced stage cancer. It was a sudden bolt from the blue. I was told in February 2015 that I had advanced stage cancer (Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma - a rare slow growing cancer of the salivary glands - tumor of size 5 cm x 5 cm x 4 cm at the base of tongue affecting the larynx). I had problem in speaking and swallowing food.

I conditioned my mind and tried to understand various aspects and took informed decisions. I have chosen path less travelled. I have not opted for chemo, surgery or radiation but rather chose mind control, diet, Ayurveda and spirituality to address the ailment. I have survived my illness so far, and managed to overcome the fear of death and have tried to put up a fight against the greatest adversity in my life.

The fight is not yet over but there has been a significant progress and I am happy about the outcome so far. Along the journey, somewhere I felt a desire to share my experiences which may help others by shedding some light on certain established beliefs.
