Shock Of Night

Hallie has spent most of her life in institutions for the insane. She sees and hears entities. They lurk in dark corners watching her, even during her dreaded ECT treatments. No one believes her when she talks about them. One day she meets Josh, a new patient who seems harmless enough, though he is reputed to have eaten his sister. Just when they strike up a friendship, something strange happens one day when she's receiving her electro-shock treatment. Reality and fantasy become blurred. Pleasantness becomes horror. Hallie soon learns that some illusions are reality, and some rumors are truth.
