So I Married a Cross-Dresser. . .

Maybe you have discovered some troubling websites on your husband's web browser history. Maybe you have caught him red-handed, dressing in your clothes. Perhaps he has even confessed to you that he is a secret cross-dresser. No matter how you learned about his habit, it's not at all clear how a wife should react to the revelation that her husband prefers to dress as a woman.

This is the story of how I came to terms with my husband's cross-dressing. It doesn't automatically mean divorce. It does mean that both husband and wife need to compromise and understand each other. Let's face it: Cross-dressing, especially among straight men, is not exactly an orthodox or mainstream hobby. To a person on the street, a man in a dress seems to be presenting himself as an effeminate homosexual. More often that not though, cross-dressing is a fetish among straight men. For someone who isn't familiar with the fetish, simply understanding the motivations behind it can be a struggle.

Believe it or not, I'm happy that my husband is a cross-dresser. I wasn't always so comfortable with it though. It took me a long time to fully understand how it could improve our relationship and why it was something that he needed in his life. This book offers the true story of how we both changed and progressed though a difficult crisis in our marriage. It wasn't always easy. We were separated for a while and we came close to ending our marriage all together. In the end though, we both learned to compromise so that we could get most of what we wanted.

I can't promise that my story will be the same as yours, but if you are facing similar dilemmas, I think my advice and my story can be useful.
