Description
Image Snap - Dementia Game for Seniors
Image Snap is a set of 36 cards that can be grouped into different families. These can be used in a series of association games that have been designed around cognitive stimulation therapy for people with dementia.
There are three games of different difficulties in each pack: Snap, Pairs and Full House. The objective of each game is to match the cards into families, e.g. in Snap the player must match two cards from the same family.
Each card has been designed with high color contrast and uses simple illustrations to ensure people with dementia are able to use the cards unassisted. The three different difficulty levels ensure there is a game suitable for people in early or mid stages of dementia.
Key Benefits:
Improve Relationships: playing games in groups helps to bring people of all abilities together and build stronger relationships
Suitable for early-mid stage dementia: three different difficulty levels means this game is suitable for people in early to mid stage dementia
Infection control compliant: the cards are tough, easy to clean and suitable for use in hospital and care home activities
