How do you solve a murder case when you’re the speculated culprit?

Lieutenant J. Derricks is a great homicide detective in the Culver City Police Department. He transferred to the suburbs after his partner was shot and killed in a tragic robbery attempt in L.A.

Derricks was bitter after that fiasco. He went through so many rookie detectives vying to be his partner that he hazed into a transfer. There was another partner. A Native American female named Raven Thunderstar. He tried to haze her, but she was quicker than his previous partner candidates.
