📖 Description
Brishelle finds herself in deep trouble after getting involved with another married man. She officially gives up on finding love and wanting a husband until she meets Pat, who is the celebrated choir director of the famed Unity Church in Los Angeles. Brishelle, who has lost both her jobs and the roof over her head, leans on Pat as a much needed friend. Does Pat sees this friendship as more? Or is she willing to be there just as the friend Brishelle needs? Although Brishelle has always been a straight woman, her need for compassion and a stable home for her son, is leading her to do some baffling things that she never thought she would do. However, feelings of jealousy and the never ending search to find a good man may cause Brishelle to risk everything. Will Brishelle finally let go of her past and work on her shattered relationship with God? Or will the lure of unconditional love and a solid family life lead her into condemnation?
