Callie looked to Trent with a grateful smile. “Thank you for coming to my rescue tonight even though I'm not your problem anymore.”

His hands reached out wrapping around her wrist.
“You’re always going to be my problem no matter what’s going on between us. You don’t have
to thank me for keeping you safe.”

Three years ago, Trent disappeared leaving Callie. Surprise to him, he also left a piece of himself behind. When he suddenly reappears, Callie doesn't know if she's glad he's back or to hate him for being gone so long. Trent swears he's a changed man. His gangster lifestyle is over and done. Too bad a new enemy didn't get the memo.

Now Trent has to figure out a way to keep his new life and protect his family. That won't be easy when the only way Trent knows how to handle problems is by being the dangerous man he used to be. Hopefully, Callie can be his redemption.
